Serving

Methi Matar Malai Paneer is best enjoyed with hot rotis, naan, or jeera rice. You can also serve it as a side dish with pulao or biryani. The creamy and flavorful gravy pairs well with the soft paneer and the freshness of fenugreek leaves and green peas.

Tips

  • Make sure to wash the fenugreek leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities.
  • If fresh fenugreek leaves are not available, you can use dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) as a substitute.
  • For a vegan version, you can replace paneer with tofu and use vegan cream instead of dairy cream.
  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference by increasing or decreasing the amount of red chili powder.
  • To enhance the flavor, you can add a pinch of sugar or honey to balance the bitterness of fenugreek leaves.
